Seema Ghanekar is a Technology and Engineering Services leader and a Certified Corporate Director from the Institute of Directors, with nearly 35 years of global experience in engineering services, digital transformation, and large-scale P&L leadership.
She holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, where she graduated as a Gold Medalist in 1989.
She currently serves as Director at L&T Semiconductor and Advisor and Coach for Large Deals at L&T Technology Services, where she helps shape strategy in the semiconductor and deep-tech ecosystem and advises on scaling, governance, and technology-led growth.
As Chief Segment Officer – Communication, Media & Semiconductor Technology at L&T Technology Services (April 2024 to December 2025), she led a ~$200 million global business with full P&L responsibility. She built and expanded strategic relationships with global leaders including Apple, Google, Comcast, AMD, and Nvidia, and drove growth through market entry, account expansion, and technology-led solutions.
Earlier, as Chief Delivery Officer – Industrial and Communication Products (April 2019 to March 2024), she led global delivery operations, improving scalability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. She integrated three strategic acquisitions in the $20–$80 million range, strengthened organizational capability, and aligned strategy with emerging technologies such as 5G and Artificial Intelligence. She also managed multi-geo operations across the US, Europe, Israel, Korea, and Japan, and established and scaled offshore development centers for global clients.
She began her career with L&T Infotech and Siemens, rising from engineer to General Manager over a 30-year tenure from 1989 to 2019.
