Overview

LTSCT’s innovative single- and multiport-capable USB Power Controller is designed to work with an AC-DC converter for a complete USB-PD solution. It comes with adaptive current sensing and thermal throttling, which ensure port temperatures stay within specified limits. It is capable of dynamic fault detection for software, hardware, and both reversible and irreversible faults.

It supports a wide variety of charging protocols to ensure compatibility with any device. Protection features include overvoltage and overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, and moisture/saltwater detection. For multiport architectures, interconnection between multiple PD controllers allows for adaptive and programmable power sharing and thermal throttling.
