Overview

LTSCT’s Dual Port USB Power Delivery (PD) solution is a compact, high-performance dual USB charger designed as an advanced usb car charger for modern vehicles, delivering up to 2 × 240 W of total power from a 12 V automotive battery. This intelligent dual port charger features two buck-boost controllers with external FET drivers and functions as a high-efficiency PD charger that is fully USB-PD 3.2 v1.1 compliant. It supports both stand-alone and networked operation in demanding automotive environments. 

The dual USB port device integrates I²C, UART, and LIN communication interfaces, a RISC-V microcontroller with hardware cryptography and OTA update capability, and support for both PPS and proprietary charging protocols for maximum compatibility across consumer devices. 

Advanced adaptive power sharing ensures efficient distribution between ports, while comprehensive protection features guard against ESD, corrosion, battery transients, overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuits, and overcurrent. Along with customizable GPIOs for functions such as dimmable LED lighting, this usb car charger solution is ideal for modern automotive charging needs, offering a reliable, high-power dual USB charger experience.
