LTSCT’s automotive USB Charging solution for a single USB port is engineered to meet the growing power demands of modern vehicles. This advanced USB charging module is AEC-Q100 qualified, ensuring high reliability and performance in harsh automotive environments. The integrated design reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and improves charging efficiency through intelligent power management and a high-efficiency DC DC converter.
Additional features include over-the-air (OTA) updates, integrated authentication for secure communication, and optional Local Interconnect Network (LIN) support for enhanced connectivity. LTSCT’s USB-PD solution delivers up to 100 W per USB charging port with integrated FETs, significantly reducing solution size and complexity. The next-generation variant supports a 48 V input and delivers up to 240 W per port, aligning with the needs of zonal architectures and increasing power demands.
Single port USB-PD charging solutions are designed to efficiently power individual devices, making them ideal for spatially distributed USB charging ports within a vehicle. Power is sourced from the main battery and protected by reverse battery protection to prevent damage.
