Overview
Introducing our advanced Cell Monitoring Unit, designed to support up to 16 cells in series and multiple chemistries such as Li-Ion, LiFePO4, and NMC. This unit features three 20-bit ΣΔ ADCs for precise sensing of cell voltage, pack voltage, current, temperature, and auxiliary signals, with ±1 mV ADC TME and ultra-low long-term drift. It provides high-accuracy cell voltage measurements within 15.625 μs for all cell channels, supports busbar connection, and includes low-power mode and cell balancing with up to 300 mA per channel.
The unit enables isolated differential daisy-chain communication at 1 Mbps, supports optional ring architecture for stackability, and offers wireless BLE communication at 2.4 GHz. Integrated DC-DC converter switches support a wide input voltage range of 6 V to 100 V, and 9 multipurpose GPIOs allow for various sensor connections and digital I/Os. Enhanced security is ensured through an authentication engine for secure communications, while comprehensive battery and cell protections include overvoltage (OV), undervoltage (UV), overtemperature (OT), undertemperature (UT), and open-wire detection.
