Overview
LTSC3560 is a bidirectional DC-DC controller designed to provide flexible power solutions. It features dual-channel control that can be configured as Buck, Boost, or Buck-Boost. Additionally, the dual channels can be interleaved to function as a four-switch Buck-Boost converter. The bidirectional channel employs Average Current Mode control, allowing for smooth transitions and seamless power transfer. LTSC3560 supports programmable constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) modes, with load line droop capabilities that offer dynamic and excellent current and voltage regulation.
When paired with a gate driver and external FET, the device can support multilevel power applications ranging from a few watts to kilowatts. The SYNC pins enable designers to implement phase-shifted control without the need for an external microcontroller (MCU). The device can be configured via an I2C bus using a simple host MCU. Equipped with integrated telemetry, a 16-bit ADC, and a 12-bit DAC, LTSC3560 facilitates remote monitoring and dynamic control while also incorporating various protection features. This controller offers a high-power density design with its compact 7 mm × 7 mm QFN package.
