LTSCT’s USB Power Delivery Controller leverages this ubiquitous standard to ensure seamless integration across a broad spectrum of applications. 

At the heart of our solution lies an innovative new architecture that redefines what’s possible in terms of performance and cost efficiency. This advanced architecture delivers exceptional power management capabilities, supports a wide range of fast charging protocols, and intelligent power sharing across multiple ports. The controller enables a compact and reliable solution with high levels of efficiency.

Key features

Fault Detection and Handling

  • Dynamic fault detection for both software and hardware faults, reversible and irreversible
  • Rectify faults through hardware/software resets, or disable the port if necessary

Adaptive Current Sensing

  • Current/load sensing to adaptively increase or decrease power supply to sink

Thermal Throttling

  • Throttling output current/power per port to ensure port temperature stays within specified limits

Intelligent power distribution

  • Based on individual port power rating, total power rating, and sink capability requirements
  • Multiport master on any one port with others operating as multiport slaves
  • Configurations: gradual power ascent or full throttle as devices connect
  • Management of power reserve and redistribution by the multiport master
