Fault Detection and Handling

Dynamic fault detection for both software and hardware faults, reversible and irreversible
Rectify faults through hardware/software resets, or disable the port if necessary

Adaptive Current Sensing

Current/load sensing to adaptively increase or decrease power supply to sink

Thermal Throttling

Throttling output current/power per port to ensure port temperature stays within specified limits

Intelligent power distribution

Based on individual port power rating, total power rating, and sink capability requirements
Multiport master on any one port with others operating as multiport slaves
Configurations: gradual power ascent or full throttle as devices connect
